Today Parkview Junior High School celebrated Veterans Day by honoring local veterans from the community. Students gathered with the veterans, community members, and staff to thank and applaud past and present service men and women for their love of country. The Parkview Junior High School cafeteria cooks provided a wonderful chicken noodle dinner followed by a heartfelt program in the gymnasium. Parkview choir performed, cards were given to all veterans, Luke Boldt led the Pledge of Allegiance, two students from each grade read poems, and Mrs. Fisher, Dean of Students, spoke to all thanking the veterans for their sacrifice, love, and bravery. We also want to thank Mrs. Seed, Mrs. Keepes, and Mrs. Green for all their hard work organizing today's events.
